Roza Pomerantz-Meltzer

Róża Pomerantz-Meltzer, also Róża Melcerowa (November 5, 1880 - October 19, 1934)[1] of Lviv, was the first woman elected to the Sejm, the Parliament of Poland. She was elected in 1919 as a member of a Zionist party. [2][3] In 1908, Meltzer founded a Jewish women's organization with Zionist leanings in Lviv.[4]
